The Italian fare features seafood in classic and modern recipes using fresh seafood - for starters, raw oysters are zesty. Also try the delicate and rangy seabass tartare with rocket salad. For your main course the lobster pasta in a tomato, olive oil, white wine and garlic sauce is perfect - the lobster is soft and juicy and the pasta a perfect al dente. The wine list features labels from Italy. For the duality of food and service, the prices can't be beat.

Indochine * SOUTHEAST ASIAN (VIETNAMESE/LAOTIAN/CAMBODIAN) With it's popular Club Street location close to Shenton way and Chinatowns office district, IndoChine had a steady stream of customers throughout the week. This lovely converted shophouse strikes an air of romance and mystery Created by the Indochinese artifacts and subtle lighting. The cuisine here adds a French twist to popular regional favorites. I love Lao sausage, and theirs is spicy. served with a sweet and tart peanut sauce. Khmer-style deep fried seabass is another specialty here. This is definitely the place to try new things. last year another outlet, IndoChine Waterfront opened at I Empress Place at the site of the soon-to-be opened new wing of the Asian Civilisations Museum.
