The Hyatt Regency he Hyatt is near the City Square, but likes to fancy itself as a city resort, focusing on landscaped gardens and greenery around the premises-the private lagoon-style pool, with gardens seen from the glass windows of the main lobby, is surely spectacular. The deluxe rooms are located better than the others, with views of Singapore and fabulous sunsets. Rooms are bland, with typical amenities common to this type of international chain hotel. However, this is without a doubt the best accommodation in town in terms of comfort; its ii al Pan Pacific has the better location, though.

The Puteri Pan Pacific The good news about the Puteri is it's located in the heart of the city, near attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment. The bad news is it is a very busy hotel and human traffic makes it noisy and somewhat on the run-down side. Nevertheless, little traditional touches to the decor make the fan Pacific unique. Be sure to ask about special discounts, which can bring the price down by as much as half.
