GOLD GREENS FEES 2

Still the best place for Malaysian handicrafts, the huge Central Market on Jalan Benteng ( 003/2274-6542) keeps any shopper saturated for hours. There You’ll find a jumble of local artists and craftspeople selling their wares in the heart wvn. It's also a good place to find Malaysian handicrafts from other regions of the Country. One specific shop 1 like to recommend for Malaysian handicrafts Karyaneka, Lot B, Kompleks Budaya Kraf (03/2164-4344), with a ware house selection of assorted goods from around the country, all of it fine quality.

Another favorite shopping haunt in Kh is Chinatown, along Pctaling Street. Day and night, its a great place to wander and bargain for knockoff designer -uliing and accessories, sunglasses, T-shirts, souvenirs, fake watches, and 1nrd videos. Pasar malam (night markets) are very popular evening activities in KL. e. hole blocks are taken up with these brightly lit and bustling markets packed with stalls selling everything you can dream of. They are likely to pop up any where in the city. Two good bets for catching one: Go to Jalan Haji Taib after dark until 10 pm. On Saturday nights, head for Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

There's nightlife to spare in KL, from fashionable lounges to sprawling discos to pubs perfect for lounging. Basically, you can expect to pay about RM 11 to RM20 (US$2.90-US$5.25) For a pint of beer, depending on what and where you order. While quite a few pubs are open for lunch, most clubs won't open iv il about 6 or 7pm. These places must all close by lam, so don't plan on staying out too late. Nearly all have a happy hour, usually between 5 and 7pm, when hinl. discounts apply on draft beers and "house-pour" (lower shelf) mixed Imnks. Generally, you're expected to wear dress casual clothing for these places, 111 :rvoid old jeans, tennis shoes, and very revealing outfits.
