Really, they're just incredibly informed and are so welcoming, so feel free to take advantage. You'll find them at the Padang Merdeka next to the Sarawak Museum (082/423-600).

GETTING THERE Almost all travelers to Sarawak enter via Kuching International Airport, just outside the city. Malaysia Airlines (1300/88-3000) flies here about 10 times daily from KL. In addition, there are nonstop flights from the Malaysian cities of Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu.
