Shaw House The main floors of Shaw House are taken up by Isetan, a large Japanese department store with designer boutiques for men's and women's fashions, accessories, and cosmetics. Specialists' Shopping Centre The anchor store in this smaller shopping mall is John Little, Singapore's oldest department store, which opened in 1845. Tanglin Shopping Centre Tanglin Shopping Centre is unique and fun. Tang's Plaza Once upon a time. C. K. Tang peddled goods from an old cart in the streets of Singapore. An industrious fellow, he parlayed his business into a small department store. A hit from the start, Tang's has grown exponentially over the decades, and now competes with all the other international megastores that have moved in.
