Another source is i he Straits Times, which lists events around town, as well as the New Paper, which vlso lists musical events like local bands and international rock and pop tours. 13oth of these papers also provide cinema listings and theater reviews.
Theartsmagazine, a bimonthly publication with articles about the local ,cene plus coming events, is on sale at magazine stands for sS5.80 (US$3.30).
TICKETS Two ticket agents, TicketCharge and Sistic, handle bookings for almost all theater performances, concert dates, and special events. You can find out about schedules before your visit through their websites: www.ticketcharge. net and wvw.sistic.com.sg. When in Singapore, stop by one of their centrally located outlets to pick up a schedule, or call them for more information.
